What a Crappy Day ..

Yet another crappy day ..

       I went to Bed at 10:00 pm yesterday ,which happens to be very difficult choice to me as im a late night sleeper..I shut down my computer and went to bed peace fully ..and had a Good nights sleep . yea till 12:00 am.The New day begins then.I woke up from my sleep when my roomate had to call all the people around the world at midnight .Since i got up from sleep ,I thought to make a call to my sister,and i ran out of credits .So,I sat to read something ..Biochemistry book ..which is not a very good choice of book to read when you are half drowsy and pissed off because you had to wake up from half sleep..I know i read a few many pages but retained nothing . so , went to sleep by 4 am.couldnt sleep even then,so I thought about random funny moments in life ,a few funny friends ..and went to sleep smiling at 5:00 am.. only to wake up at 7:00 am by roomate to get ready for clinical rotation.

   today was my first day in pediatrics department ..I like babies a lot and i was pretty excited about it . it was about 7:50 already,and had to run to the hospital to reach in time for rotation,to make a good first impression.went in to the building ,and was searching for the department floor on elevator board only to find that peds department was in a whole different building.paced at the maximum speed to the building,with a really really bad system of elevators .which stopped in each floor for no reason.anyway,reached the department with a 30 minute delay.saw a doctor went to her,she was paying no attention to us.i was scared to  death because i know she might be mad at us for being late.we  followed her no matter what,went to the patient room and looked like a complete idiot.soon,my friend read her name plate,only to realise it was the wrong doctor.ran out of the room,searched for the right one this time,and found her finally.a very pleasing woman.she couldnt speak a single word of english,and i did not understand a lot what she said ,but i shook my head and made her happy.after a long rotation of wards.she asked us to auscultate the baby and tell her what i hear. I kept my stethescope on her chest  and all i could hear was some chinese music playing . "na-nah-ne-neeh" the kid was playing with some kind of music toy and i was like "oh,God". Though I didnt hear anything,I looked like i got it all.

went to the office,she asked for the text book.which we had forgot to take today,both of us.she asked politely to go fetch the book and be back soon.. I was like "what the hell" .. I had to go back all the way,then get into 7th floor(no elevators)in dormetry,find a friends book.anyway I did it,got the book.

In a real hurry,BUT desperately wanted a bite because I skipped the breakfast,i went into the cafeteria and was yelled by the lady in charge for entering with  lab coat on.i had to take it off,get the food,run to the hospital and had to take stairs AGAIN!! ,becauser waiting for elevator would mean staying there the whole day..

and then came back from hospital ,and bumped into the rudest professor(whom none of us would ever want to meet again|) .I dont know why,the very sight of him gives me the nightmares ..

the day isnt over yet..But everything has got a limit right.may be this is the limit today ..aaaarrgh ..Now I have to sleep peacefully. had a rough day!!

and did i mention,apparently ,being with babies with diarrhea ,projectile vomitting and constant crying in a very high pitch ..Not very amusing..even on a normal day ..
